Hands-on welding inspection will include the proper use of tongmeters, voltmeters and temperature measuring tools to determine compliance to welding procedures, including conducting heat input calculations.  Correct specimen preparation, along with Bend and Tensile testing (API 1104 and ASME IX), will be demonstrated to assure that those in attendance will be able to perform these duties in the field for Welder Qualification and Welding Procedure Qualification.
